My top 5 faves from the #FeelWholeChallenge

If you know anything about me, you know that I am always down for a challenge.  When Advent Health reached out to me for the #feelwholechallenge I was instantly excited.  If you’ve been following me on social, you know that each day I have shared my experiences about the feel whole challenge.   Here are the top 5  things that have really resonated with me since starting.

  1. Drink More Water - I will be the first to admit, I haven't been focused on my water intake and the importance of drinking water. Currently I have been using the Hydrate Spark water bottle that my friends from Advent Health gifted me and it has been a game changer. I love that the app allows me to take my intake and challenge myself each day by drinking more daily.

  2. Walking Daily- This challenge has been a family favorite and if you follow my IG stories you get to see first hand all the fun we have had taking our daily walks. One of the best thing about walking during this challenge has been showing my kids the importance of physical activity as well as family time. We even invited our neighbor to join us. Walking is my new way of life, and even if the weather is bad, walking inside does the trick.

  3. Pray for someone everyday- I really enjoyed creating my prayer journal and praying for someone each day during the challenge. Having the physical journal and writing down the names of the people that I intend on praying for really helped put the challenge into perspective. It’s so easy to say you will do something, but when you have to physically write the name down daily you are more focused and committed to complete the task at hand. I look forward to continuing this throughout the year.

  4. Organize a space in your home- The main space in my home that causes me stress is the kitchen and more specifically, the refrigerator. If you watched my IGTV you saw how I tackled this task, I went to the container store and purchased several bins to help me with this task and it turned out perfectly. Now if I can keep everyone else on task my life will be that much easier.

  5. Try a new meal- This was one of my all-time favorites, I had the best time cooking with Elle, Axel and my niece. We made some delicious stuffed spinach and cheese pasta shells. Be sure to check out all of the details here.

Well that’s my recap of the top 5 task during my challenge. I would like to thank my friends at Advent Health for challenging me and each of you that joined in. Be sure to check out the #Feelwholechallenge for yourself here.

Until next time……

XO,

Meka
