DIY Patched Denim
My oldest child and ONLY daughter Elle and I have a lot in common, and one of those "things" would be our connection in being creative! She loves to do DIY activities with me so we got together and came up with a DIY Mommy and Me craft for our friends at The Craft Bar take a look at what we came up with below! Tag us if you get around to trying this out with your little one(s) Items Need:
- An Iron
- Patches of your choice
- Denim jeans or any denim item
- Heavy duty glue gun
Place your patches in various locations on the jeans as seen below
With adult supervision of course, I let Elle iron the patches allowing the heat to sit for at least 30 seconds. Keep in mind you may have to go over each path in a circular motion to avoid burning the items.
We suggest wearing after 24 hours and if any patches appear to become undone simply try ironing again or following up with the hot glue gun!
Style and Enjoy! This DIY was so much fun and super easy I am going to make a jacket for myself! Stay tuned and until next time.....
